My first gubbing this week. 888casino. Not surprised though as I would normally deposit then play the free spins and then withdraw. Did that 3 times. Made a profit all 3 times.Twice I won over £120.

Their casino offers are so easy too! Risk free 😄

Yeh, wish the other casinos I've used so far were that easy. I was gutted when I got the email!

I wouldn't worry too much, they get everyone in the end. It's a sort of smash and grab mission with their casino 🙂

Lost Coral today. No more bet club for me. 😭
That said, it was always a chore to do, haha!! It's funny because this week is pretty much the first time I haven't participated and I never got the in shop bet as there's no shop near me! Oh well......

Paddypower gubbed me few days ago. only did the signup sports offer 3 or 4 weeks ago. Havent taken advantage of any casino offers at all so not sure why the gubbed me!

The email only mentions the casino offers so hopefully I can still take advantage of the sports offers!

@Azad me too on the 8th of Jan, got the same email from Paddypower casino. I did 3 casino offers though, but I'm pretty sure we can still do the sport offers. Soon find out if they send offers this weekend.

What is the most common reason for being gubbed ? for example like doing arb ( but why many arbs between betfair sportbook and betfair exchange ),  using free bet with high odd over 10, placing bet through others websites ( even the link is hidden they know we used a referral ), register for welcome offer through referral ( maybe the referral has been gubbed or is in red list ), using too many free offers, bet stake high. too many logging, too many withdrawals,...etc.....,  I have no idea as I am new and trying to understand.

2 others questions :

1- rating higher than 100 between 2 exchanges is that considered as Arb ? I thought I read exchange does not gub

2- In play, many odds discrepancy between exchanges and bookmakers, will this be considered as Arb at it will move so quick during the match ( maybe more for tennis than foot )

1 - Exchanged don't gub so you're fine doing matches between 2 exchanges. There has been hear say that they'll remove you from 0% commission promos but it's a load of rubbish

2 - Inplay I personally think you're ok arbing on sports that are volatile. This comes with risk though as odds move very quickly, and also im not 100% sure. Also, if a football game was at half time then it's technically inplay but if you did a massive arb they'd be able to monitor it.

And the first question: the most common reason is for taking too much value. Arbs, free bets, promotions etc. They're not stupid and they can see. You just have to mix it up a bit 🙂

I had a silly case with one bookmaker, I did the welcome offer, my bet loose then I got the  £20 refund. After that I used this refund as free bet which is still open and just got an email that following a review of my account I will not be eligible to receive ANY promotions. Can a bookmaker cancel the ongoing free bet not settled yet ? If I win, can they block me to withdraw ?

It is my first gub and I was just doing the welcome offer process, that is so fast !! Is that because I chose odd high to lose the TR bet and get the refund ? or I choose odd too high for free bet ?

I did the Oddsmonkey 0% at Betdaq link and that seems to have caused a problem with Will Hill who have stake restricted me on their super odds. I never know what to do when that happens - do you take what they offer and bet at the normal odds for a round figure? Or just take what they offer and be done with it? I can still do bet boosts with them, but only £20 on the 5 clear / high 5

I never actually joined Unibet, but got to them via Stan James and after having a decent win, decided to act like a punter and withdraw some of my winnings. I kept getting messages that I needed to verify my account but then when I got to the relevant page it said no documents were needed. Went on live chat, withdrew some (but not all) of my balance and was gubbed the next day. 888  followed.

That said, I started matched betting in January last year and it took until December to lose my first account, so I did better than most, but it did make me think that perhaps I'm not taking as much value from my bookies as I could be!

Normally if you're restricted on a boost on WH you are still generally okay. Just lay off the boosts for a little while but you can still tackle their high 5 and stuff 🙂

I've been matched betting for 4 weeks and already have 4 gubbings! First one was 888 which was my fault because I placed a bet from my laptop with a vpn on and then straight away one from my mobile with no vpn. Then I lost Genting which was probably because I signed up with TCB. Then this week I got gubbed from Sportingbet and Bwin within the space of a day and then found out they are owned by the same company. I had signed up to them very close together which brings me to my question... I am doing the signups from week 7 on the £100 guide and there are two bookies that it tells me are the same company... doesn't doing them back to back mean I am likely to get gubbed?? I also just did the Toals signup today and want to sign up to some of the bookies listed on Oddsmonkey like Brucebetting and Blacktype ahead of Cheltenham, am I safe to do these close together?

Just received my gubbing email from Betway, which sucks so close to Cheltenham! I've now lost Betway, Moplay and Unibet in the last two weeks, having already lost Coral. Terrified of losing Skybet with just two weeks to go until Cheltenham

Looks as though I'm on my way to a gubbng by Coral. I can't access the bet and get club this week. :(
I'd just finally got up the nerve to place my in shop bet too!
